Fletcher Scholars Sponsorships

Transform a Life, a Family, and a Community Through Education

Financial Challenges Keep Students in Poverty

and They are Unable to Receive Higher Education

In Uganda, of the 60,000 students who qualify to attend university, only 37% are able to enroll due to financial constraints. The average annual income for Ugandans is about $620 — yet research shows that earning a degree can increase that amount by four to five times. A single educational opportunity can truly transform a life, a family, and a community.

With this reality in mind, LivingStone International University is excited to introduce our newest initiative to advance our mission of transforming Africa through quality, Christ-centered higher education: the Fletcher Scholars Sponsorship (FSS) Program.

The Solution:
The Fletcher Scholars Sponsorship (FSS) Program

FSS is a program designed to make the impossible possible for deserving rural African men and women who will gain the transforming opportunity to obtain a degree at Livingstone International University.

Named in honor of longtime LIU advocate Roger Fletcher, the FSS Program allows sponsors to partner directly with a student who would otherwise be unable to pursue a degree.
