Entering a New Era: Harding University Partners with LivingStone International University 

February 2026 marks an important milestone for LivingStone International University. A new academic partnership with Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas signals growth, credibility, and long-term vision. 

This collaboration is not financial. It is strategic. It connects Harding’s College of Business Administration with LIU’s School of Business in a shared commitment to academic excellence and spiritual formation. 

Why This Partnership Matters 

Harding University has long been one of the Christian institutions that inspired LIU’s academic vision. Now that shared foundation has become a formal collaboration. 

This partnership brings several key benefits: 

• Increased credibility with Uganda’s National Council for Higher Education 

• Annual curriculum review by Harding’s experienced professors 

• Ongoing academic refinement and global perspective 

• Opportunities for shared spiritual growth and campus visits 
   

For students, this means stronger programs and greater confidence in entering the workforce. For partners and supporters, it reflects accountability and institutional maturity. 

Partnership Has Always Driven LIU’s Growth 

Since its earliest days, LIU has developed through meaningful collaboration. The university has worked alongside Uganda Christian University, Harding Academy High School in Jinja, God’s Care, Good News Productions International, and others. 

In 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Woord en Daad significantly increased enrollment and visibility. The Harding partnership builds on that momentum. 

As President Henry Buregea shared, partnership has been central to LIU’s development story. Each collaboration has strengthened academic programs, expanded opportunities, and deepened impact. 

Expanding Influence Beyond Uganda 

In January, Dr. Buregea visited Cornerstone Leadership Academy in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo. He shared LIU’s mission and academic programs, generating strong interest among students. Plans are already in place for further discussions later this year. 

LIU’s influence continues to extend regionally, opening doors for future students and partnerships.
