Building Bridges with Royalty
Last month, LIU had the incredible honor of meeting with His Royal Highness Jude Mike Mudoma III, King of the Bugisu Kingdom in Mbale. Our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Henry Buregea, led the delegation during this historic visit.
The King warmly welcomed our team and pledged his support for LIU’s mission. Together, we explored new opportunities to:
- Expand scholarship programs for regional students
- Develop skills-based training to tackle youth unemployment
- Strengthen cultural partnerships that celebrate heritage while promoting transformation
“This partnership is more than symbolic—it’s strategic,” says Dr. Buregea.
“Together, we are raising a generation of leaders who are grounded in faith and equipped for the future.”
On the Road for the Kingdom
This month, our U.S. team is spreading the word across the country, meeting supporters, sharing stories like Ezra’s, and inviting more people into the mission.
📍 Next Stop: Houston, Texas – We’ll be attending the National Disciple Making Forum, where we’ll connect with believers from around the world who are passionate about multiplying disciples.
