From South Sudan to LIU: Ezra’s Journey of Faith and Leadership 

Imagine leaving your home and family—your wife and six children—to pursue a calling that burns deep within your soul. That’s exactly what Ezra did when he came to LivingStone International University in 2022. 

Today, as he nears the end of his Diploma in Christian Ministry, Ezra reflects on a journey of deep transformation—not just academically, but spiritually and personally.  

“My life has been greatly transformed since I joined LIU,” Ezra says. 
“I now serve God from an informed point of view… I interpret Scripture correctly, and I am a more confident servant leader.” 

Ezra’s story is one of courage, sacrifice, and purpose. While his family remains in South Sudan, their support fuels his mission. And that mission is crystal clear: to preach the gospel with clarity, raise up new leaders, and bring hope to Muslim communities across his homeland. 

“My heart is burdened for the Arab world,” he says. 
“I long to see the Gospel reach the people of my region.” 

This is the heartbeat of LIU. We don’t just educate. We equip world-changers like Ezra—students who return to their communities transformed, empowered, and ready to make an eternal difference.
