November Reflections: Faith, Growth, and a Campus on the Rise
As the final months of the year approach, many pause to reflect. At LivingStone International University (LIU), November is more than just the tail end of the academic calendar. It’s a time to look back on breakthroughs, honor the faithful steps forward, and celebrate lives in the making.
This season, we’re reminded that growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s found in quiet service, in the courage to lead, and in the steady brickwork of a campus being built for generations to come.
Student Spotlight: Akidenyet Brenda
Meet Akidenyet Brenda, a third-year education student at LIU with a clear calling.

“While I was thinking of applying to LIU, God connected me to a friend who studied here. After hearing about their experience, I knew this was the right place.”
That decision changed everything.
Since arriving at LIU, Brenda has embraced every opportunity to grow academically, spiritually, and in leadership. She’s joined the debate team, served as a class coordinator, and now leads as the student body’s vice president. But her greatest transformation? A deeper understanding of the gospel.
“Becoming a teacher, I hope to equip students with knowledge and skills that will help them transform the nations of Africa, bringing new believers to know God and His glory.”
Campus Updates: Newsrooms and New Wings

In October, several students made their debut at the National Newsroom Contest 2025, hosted by the MCI Media Hub. Representing LIU in the ‘TV English News’ category, they delivered an impressive first showing. It was more than just a competition. It was a testament to the confidence, preparation, and excellence that defines LIU students.
Meanwhile, excitement continues to build around campus construction. The administration building is progressing quickly, and with each new wall, morale rises. Staff and students alike see it not only as a structural addition, but as a symbol of the university’s momentum.
From the President’s Desk
October was a month of milestones. The 10th graduation ceremony. The arrival of a new Chancellor. And the promise of what’s to come as construction continues.
In the words of our President:
“This project is a daily motivator. Once the first wing is completed, enrollment will increase and the glory of God will be seen by all.”
There’s an atmosphere of hope across campus, a sense that God is moving, not just in buildings, but in every student walking the path of purpose.
Beyond Campus: Sharing LIU’s Mission
This November, our development team hit the road again. After realizing Amarillo, Texas had somehow escaped this year’s tour map, they quickly corrected the course. Dozens of new friends, churches, and organizations learned about LIU’s mission, the Fletcher Scholars Program, and how they can be part of shaping the next generation of Christ-centered leaders.

Looking Ahead with Hope
As the year winds down, we’re filled with gratitude — for our students, for every supporter, and for a God who continues to make a way. November may signal a closing chapter on the calendar, but at LivingStone International University, it’s just one more page in a much greater story.
Lives are being changed. The future is being built. And the mission moves forward.
